Responses to “Presidential
benefits gazetted” Thank you President Mnangagwa for gazetting a befitting schedule of benefits for our founding father Robert Mugabe, a doyen of self-determination, empowerment and a Pan-African liberation legend. Despite the bad ending to his Presidency, which saw criminals surrounding him, the nation still owes him respect and care as a man of substance who fought to bring about this Zimbabwe we are living peacefully in today. — Wilson Fungai Marume.
*** Responses to “President
appoints VPs” It’s a necessity to make the right choice as Head of State because every single mistake in decision making will not affect him alone but the whole nation. So the President should be applauded for choosing deputies with wisdom. VP Chiwenga is a military man who is diligent and disciplined. VP Mohadi is a well experienced man whose composure will be key in nation building. — Khumbulani Ncube.

Responses to “Presidential
benefits gazette” Without any rancour and without seeking revenge, but forever seeking to do good by the country and by extension by one of the founding fathers of Zimbabwe, a Founding Father whose legacy has to be restored and protected! I take my hat off to you our new President for being “Presidential” as you “are wont to be” and rising above the destructive wishes of haters.
You have shown a new leadership style that will definitely define your time in office in a way and manner that is unique to you.
That is great! The First Lady is also playing her role as Amai of the nation as if she has been in that position for ages, yet it is less than two months since she took over the reins of the country.
You have both hit the ground running and the prospects for better economic, social and political changes anticipated by our people are beginning to look promising and I can confidently foresee that within six months most of the changes will become visible. — Truth Hurts.
