@HeraldZimbabwe Response to “54 VID officers fired” Corruption at VID is worse than in the ZRP. I am surprised they fired just 54. — R. Mukondiwa. *** This was long overdue. Bulawayo VID is the most corrupt, please look into them. Thorough cleaning is needed. — T.D Majoni. *** Response to “Tsvangirai’s family breaks silence” That acronym “T” was used just to distinguish between the MDCs. The party has a constitution and I do not think there is anywhere in that document where it gives the Tsvangirais family ownership of the party. — Cyps5.

The Herald — Zimbabwe Responses to “54 VID officers fired” Install CCTV cameras at vehicle inspection sites and use computer marked theory tests and stop vehicle inspectors test driving vehicles. This is the window for corruption and bribery. If a vehicle is checked properly at the station, there is no need to drive it out of the station. This will also reduce waiting time for vehicle test. — Squbu Bugatti KaJubane.

*** May those responsible also visit VID Eastlea, that is where all the corruption is taking place. — Gift Chikaka.

*** Responses to “Zimsec lays

out rewrite logistics” Have you considered those who have travelled as far as USA and China? Have you considered those who are stuck in hospitals due for an operation on that exam date, and some who are due to deliver in maternity? Have you considered travelling expenses to respective centres, especially for boarders? — Mike Rukwava.

*** They must conduct an audit at ZIMSEC and fire all the corrupt people who were involved in the leaking of the English paper. — Tawanda Masara.

It is a great shame on whoever leaked the English Paper II. The state is going to lose a lot of money for that re-write. We are living in a global village where ICT gurus are well ahead of ZIMSEC. It is not a surprise that the paper to be sat for has already leaked. Technology being used by those at ZIMSEC has a probability of being hacked. Authorities should ban any form of ICT gadgets into ZIMSEC premises by staff and sundry during public exam setting. Innocent children and parents are made to suffer while the real culprits go scot free. What has been done to avoid the same for future papers? What has been done to the culprits who leaked the papers should be made public. — Shemy Majata.

Response to “Facilitate students’ access to forex, RBZ tells banks”

With more than 10 state universities, why should the country still be sending students abroad? — Simon Muziwendonda.

*** Response to “MPs fingered in corruption at Tongaat Hullet”

The Government must continue to fight corruption by making sure culprits are taken to the courts for punishment, regardless of their political affiliation. — Eliah.

*** Response to “SB emphasises re-engagement”

What about the issue of closing unnecessary embassies? We are still waiting to hear about that. — Yowe.

*** Response to “War vets salute First Lady”

Well done First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa. This is what we call leading by example and heeding people’s calls in style. Your relinquishing of your seat certainly gives you the opportunity to attend to national duties, take care of the President and above all avoid conflict of interest by dabbling into politics. — Mimi.
