Response to “Be innovative, minister tells parastatal bosses” They should be smart and justify why they are being funded. We do not like them to be an Achilles heel to the country’s development. —John Nguwonde.

Response to “AU Commission endorses transition” Anyone who suggests otherwise is merely clutching at straws, last year’s transition was constitutional and necessary. We can’t keep circling around the same issue, there is need to focus on other concerns. — Moreblessing Sengu.

For the first time since independence, ZANU-PF will have the easiest election in 2018. There is literally no opposition to bother ourselves. — Reuben.

I see Chamisa being challenged on his legitimacy as acting president. MDC-Tsvangirai is likely to split into three smaller MDCs, namely MDC-C (Chamisa) MDC-K (Dr Khupe) and MDC-M (Mudzuri). What a circus. These people are surely not ready to govern. While they fight each other in the courts, ZANU-PF will be mobilising and when ZANU-PF wins the elections, they will cry foul. They will say the “political playing field was uneven”, and that “there are many laws that still need to be aligned to the Constitution”. These MDC factions will reject the poll results, mark my words. This party is a waste of time. — Mdawini.

Response to “Grace Mugabe PhD

ZACC probes Prof Mararike” Let us move with speed to strip her of this degree and move to focus on important things such as our roads which are already giving in to rains and other pressures. I note the flyover at Mabvuku is giving in and there are a couple of potholes. There is need to investigate how the tender was awarded and how much it cost to build it. I suspect a lot went wrong and one day it will collapse causing a serious damage to life and property. Was all the money used at the bridge or flyover? Who are the shareholders of the company that built the flyover and why is it already decaying long before it is even commissioned? Or was it commissioned? We need better roads and better airports as well as an efficient railway system. Yes, we need to probe corruption and restore credibility to our institutions, but that must never make us lose focus. — PZ.

*** Response to “Extend inputs scheme,

say cotton farmers” Taking the Chinese government agricultural model of 1978 and modernising it to suit Zimbabwe’s specific perspective would go a long way to helping revive and stabilise this sector. — Shanna6875.

*** Response to “Politburo approves

new party regalia” Good to have new regalia, better to have new vision in driving our country, best if peace and love prevails! — Robin Hood.

*** Response to “Fuel prices

trek upwards” This is very bad for Zimbabweans who are struggling to make ends meet, considering that the duty for fuel remains excessively high, the Government must urgently intervene and set prices as they are the only ones who can save the motoring public from further pain. — Eliah.
