Responses to “I am still MDC-T boss: Khupe”

To be fair, she is right. @DrThoko_ Khupe is the only person mandated by the MDC-T constitution to be the acting president. Plus she is calling for a special congress to elect a substantive MDC-T leader. That’s what should have been done from the onset. #Leadership. — @povozim

*** If that’s what the constitution says she is right. Isn’t the MDC-T a movement for democrats! Why do you want to resort to unconstitutional means? — @headzhigh

*** Response to “Kombi ban reversed” The city fathers should think before they act; don’t do experiments with the public. We are human beings. — @ tateaalfayeed.

Response to “One killed, two injured in city clashes”

It’s a shame act on both sides, the demonstrators and the police. No matter the justification, violence no, no to it; it has brought nothing except tears and cries. We never resolve anything through confrontations; it’s a waste. Dialogue is the best. People will be people, we have emotions. — Ukachibweze Raddie Sisamanja.

*** Response to “I am still MDC-T boss: Khupe”

In all honesty, she is the acting president. That is if the constitution of the MDC-T means anything to you. Just because she is a woman or that she is from Matabeleland doesn’t mean she is not good enough to take over. — Moyo Busani Prince.

Looking at things objectively, the MDC has no vision or direction, so don’t expect much from their council. There is need for planned public transport routes to drop passengers as close as possible to their destination and not far.

This makes me doubt the capability of MDC to run anything meaningful. Maybe their reasoning is as low as their supporters, or is reflected by their support base. Let’s call a spade a spade.

You cannot expect leadership from people with no strategic thinking. Whose town are you running and what development have you brought? Look at their salary bill, what are they paying themselves for? — Hombarume.

Responses to “Government reverses kombi ban”

Thumbs up to Honourable Minister Moyo for reversing the decision to ban kombis from the CBD. But remember that this council has never put the interests of the people at heart in whatever they do. All they do is corruptly accord themselves huge perks.

They should first ensure that alternative modes of transport have been put in place. Remember this council is MDC-T run, so obviously they want to ensure that residents become disenchanted and rise up. Well, Zimbabweans are not stupid and we all know what they were up to. — Mimi.
