IT WILL be party time at Talent Development Village tomorrow when owners of the venue launch ‘‘Cooler Box’’ event that is set to see imbibers and merrymakers driving into the spacious outdoor facility with their drinks for more than 12 hour of music.

The venue is located along Donbrook Road off Harare-Mutare highway and OG Entertainment is facilitating the event.

It is expected to be a monthly affair meant to bring people together for fun and networking.

Merrymakers will be allowed to bring in cooler boxes with beverages of their choice and enjoy the exceptional environment at the place.

Spokesperson of the event, Munya Chidodo of OG Entertainment, said the concept aims to bring people from all walks of life together and it also accommodates family outing.

“We are glad to have the event and we want people to come in their numbers for the launch party. We are expecting people of various backgrounds to come and mingle and enjoy good music,” said Chidodo.

“We are partnering ZiFM Stereo and there will be a live broadcast during the event. It is starting at 12noon in order to accommodate families, but it will run until the following day. Our advantage is that we have two stages at one venue and we will have different artistes performing at the same time.

“The stages are far apart and there won’t be any sound interference. We also have a spectacular VIP section that will be occupied by the capital’s big spenders.”

He said they have an advantage of big space and people will drive in and enjoy scenes while in their cars.

“Some people enjoy watching performances from their cars and we are glad to announce that they can do so at our village. We also have accommodation and others might prefer to sleep at the place when they get tired of merrymaking.”

Entertainment will be provided by Natty O and DJs that include Abisha, Palmer, Mosaf and Too Bad.

The organisers said the venue’s thrust it to promote upcoming talent.

They have partnered different companies that will come to exhibit their wares and services during the event.

“It is a broad concept. Yes, emphasis is on the cooler box because we know people love their drinks, but we also want to facilitate important networking. Companies that will exhibit will enhance their businesses while people that come will learn various things about certain corporates. It an event where people can mix business with pleasure.”
