- Arts Reporter

DENDERA musician Suluman Chimbetu will tomorrow return to one of his favourite hunting grounds at Mushandirapamwe Hotel. His manager Carlton Muparutsa said they will be having a good time at one of their best venues.

“Things are taking shape because our fans are appreciating some of the new songs played by the Captain. Ours is a brand that needs hard working and as a team we are doing our best to give fans the best,” he said.

Muparutsa said they have not set date for the release of the new album yet.

“We don’t have specific dates as of now but we are doing our best to polish up the stuff. Some of the songs that include ‘‘Asante Sana’’ are proving to be popular with fans and that is our aim to give them the best,” he said.

He said they started their year on a high note and people are supporting them.

“So far so good for 2018. Our shows have been doing well,” he said.

For the show they have surprises for the fans. “We have a big surprise for our fans at the show and they must to witness the big surprise,” he said.

Show organisers said they have been satisfied by the response to Sulu’s shows at Mushandirapamwe.

“We have hosted Sulu on several times at this venue and he has been doing well. Our Patrons have shown satisfaction in the musician’s act,” said one of the organisers. He has already hinted about a surprise on the night and his fans should come in their numbers to support him,” he said.

With six albums to his name, Sulu has been working to push his father Simon Chimbetu’s legacy. He has managed to bring hit songs with some collaboration complementing his efforts. Each time he releases new album, his fans are assured of something new and interesting.
