Response to “CEO rapes, impregnates minor”

Very shameful. This is not acceptable, especially from someone who holds such a position. What lesson is he giving to his subordinates? He needs to be punished severely. Our country should not condone such behaviour. — @Rodrick Phiri. The Herald — Zimbabwe Response to “EU gives ED’s first 100 days thumbs up”

EU is an organisation that knows about reviving an economy and so when they acknowledge improvement it shows there is a degree of improvement. The problem is that people think if they can get money in the banks and drugs in hospitals within weeks that is change. Economic experts know that a country needs to lay a proper foundation so that the country provides other services. The President is laying that foundation for Zimbabwe. As Zimbabweans let us remember that one does not reap if one does not sow and Zimbabwe is in the process of sowing. — Elliot Chinomwamwaza.

*** EU is speaking from a professional economist position, that means it can see even a two percent improvement in an economy and can project that within such and such time there will be very big progress. However, we as ordinary Zimbabweans cannot see that. Some do not even know what FDI is and how it will help. What Zimbabweans expected to see was an improvement in daily services in a short period of time. — Simbarashe Mwanaka. SMS/WhatsApp: +263774111101

The Chevrons did us proud, they were becoming more like Arsenal, very good at disappointing and frustrating. Congratulations boys, thank you for raising our flag high. — Mungandidii. www.herald.co.zw Response to “President meets Khama, Lungu on Saturday” Thank you Mr President for realising that engagement is the way to go for Zimbabwe. You have our support and blessing. #ED has my vote. — Milton Dengeni.

*** Response to “$1 billion loan facility

for tertiary students” We applaud this move, but can the conditions for accessing these loans be more flexible? — Zhanje PM.

*** Response to “Another blow

for Zifa rebels” Those who lost in Zifa battles are fighting to come back no matter what criminal record they carry. Those who lost power in the country’s political leadership are fighting no matter how old. Are we saying they did not save enough to see them going through their lives without hassles? Or, is this not enough a pointer to the fact that these offices are vulnerable to abuse by holders and what are we doing to plug such? I have noted with great concern that many, if not all, people who have been relieved of their duties have developed a habit of fighting back, even forcing employers to re-engage them despite other factors like the economy and so on. Why can we not start our own things and be our own employers? — Ray Mbada.

Response to “ZANU-PF scoffs at Mutinhiri, G40 project” President Mnangagwa needs to deal with these criminals. They know very well that they can never win, but they just want to divide ZANU-PF. — Cephas Javachava. Readers are invited to send comments and feedback through any of the above platforms.
