PREMIERSHIP returnees Mutare City Rovers got a morale-booster ahead of their Castle Lager Premier Soccer League tie against Nitchrut at Mandava when they received two sets of playing kit from Cell Med Health in the capital yesterday.

Club chairman Kudakwashe Chisango said they have to win the game at all costs.

‘’This sponsorship came at the right time and we will make sure we win our fixture so that we give a good thank you message to our partner.

“As a council-owned side, our budget is limited and we thank corporates like Cell Insurance who have come on board to support us.

“We will definitely win our first game of the season so that we thank the sponsors in a big way. The game is not going to be an easy one but we want to make sure that we survive as we have been preparing for a long time.

“We have a competitive team that is made up of both experienced and young players so we will see how it goes,” said Chisango. Cell Insurance chief executive Ish Mukuzwa said they were happy with the partnership and will continue to support the team in any way they can.

“We are delighted with the partnership and the side as our ambassador and we hope they will do well this season. We will continue to support them and hope they will have silverware this year,” said Mukuzwa.

The same sentiments were echoed by head of operations, Munyaradzi Chipundza.
