*** Response to “Ramaphosa expected in Harare tomorrow”

There were people who have been complaining about President Mnangagwa’s visit to other countries.

I am sure now they can learn that all presidents do that for nation building, nothing comes on a silver platter. — @ ashlymunashe.

*** Response to “Govt tackles fuel prices, liquidity”

Response to “Blow own trumpet, ED tells media”

You really have a vision for Zimbabwe President ED. However, the structures that are supposed to be a pillar to that vision are dead.

Take for example the ZESA officials, they just collect huge amounts of money from desperate clients, but they never deliver.

How can big business be run without basics like electricity. You did well with traffic police. Please clean up ZESA as well, enough is enough! — Dr Octavia Sibanda.

President Mnangagwa’s vision for Zimbabwe is great. I am sure as soon as the country rejoins the Commonwealth a lot will change.

The President is gaining support and trust from other countries and major organisations like the UN because of his vision.

Let us support him and share the same vision for our beloved country. — Farai Munetsi.

Response to “No reprieve for Diasporan voters”

Given our Government’s impecunious position and existing law, the law cannot enforce an impossibility. People may go on talking as their democratic right, but our Government will only do the possible.

That the law cannot enforce an impossibility is a legal maxim well anchored in jurisprudence. Those of us in Zimbabwe can vote on behalf of Diaspora citizens, giving a national quorum, in my view. — Cde Mzvinavhu (Prof).

*** Response to “Relocate illegal settlers, Govt told”

Please help us, we the people of Nyikayaramba Village, Nyamaropa, Nyanga District.

We have had people from Murengami and Marweyi villages settled unlawf ully by their respective village heads.

They are currently cutting down trees recklessly in our area. The other ones are settled on the sloppy side of the Bende Mountain, which is a wetland for all rivers and streams within the area. They have caused massive erosions to the point where this is unbearable.

The Nyamaropa police, our MP and Nyanga district council, including EMA, are aware of this, but nothing has been done to stop further degradation of the environment.

We used to have wild animals in there, but it ’s now a thing of the past. They hunted all the animals and killed them. Please help us and the whole community will benefit. — Thetruthshallcome.
