He always comes through

-

ISAIAH 43 vs 2 - 3

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

Not long ago, a very famous city heralded a clarion call for help; the ravages of the weather had caused such a harrowing drought that the dams literally had a few day’s worth of water left.

The grandeur of the city was lost because of this one condition that had brought the city to its knees. Who would have known that water, this important ingredient to life, has the ability to build and destroy? We all take it for granted, yet the Lord has created the essence of life around it; without water we cannot live, there is no life. As the city progressed towards desperation, an unprecedented storm gathered over the city and brought relief, just in the nick of time.

Such is the Lord we serve; no matter how desperate things may look, He will always provide a way out of our circumstances and the issues that worry us. Though we may not like the outcomes of His intervention and the timing He presents, we are sure of this one fact — He will come through, and He always comes through! Be blessed!
