DeMbare must address players’ concerns

-

EDITOR — Dynamos problems are to a certain degree related to the type of leadership at the club.

After wasting away a healthy lead to Shabanie Mine at home having previously stumbled against Chicken Inn in the season opener, it might be a bit too early to start throwing question marks around, but a great start usually leads to an impressive end.

However, the fact remains that Dynamos started the season with the familiar bag full of problems from its inability to address key players issues, notably the Christian Joel Ntouba signing-on fee.

It leaves a lot of question marks over the seriousness of the DeMbare leadership led by Kenny Mubaiwa once again.

Having received an initial financial package from telecommunications giant NetOne, we expected the likes of Ntouba, who was our leading marksman, to have started and his salary issue to have been settled way before the season started.

But it seems as if the Dynamos leadership is less bothered by addressing the player’s grievances, opting instead to settle for raw players who are more than happy to play for Dynamos even without receiving anything.

Unless the leadership sees the ticking time bomb before it’s too late, we are not going to win the championship any time soon. Felix Zonke, Harare.
