@HeraldZimbabwe Response to “$1,5 billion deal to create 630 000 jobs” Now this is transformative. This is going to create the highest number of jobs in 2018 to 2020. — @Chakwand. *** Responses to “Chamisa faces rebellion from MPs” This party is broke, the westerners who used to fund them have since withdrawn because it failed to deliver hence confidence has been lost completely. — @ Chataika. *** Response to “MDC-T official nabbed for rape” Aspiring councillor who does such a thing! What a shame! May he get what his kind deserves. — @Ndiweni Blessed. The Herald — Zimbabwe Responses to “Chamisa faces

rebellion from MPs” I always thought affiliation to democratic institutions was driven by systems guided by constitutionalism, but it seems it’s partisan politics. The people’s assessment of wrong or right is informed more by who did it than the merit of the argument. While the MDC purports to be a democratic party that wants everyone to have access to instruments of governance, it is paradoxically employing a monetary requirement for one to assume public office. — Darlington Nhova.

*** This is the beginning of corruption. So MPs are buying jobs? How can people vote for someone who paid to be a candidate instead of being voted by the electorate? — Fungai Magwenzi.

*** But why does MDC-T keep fighting ZANU-PF and yet President Mnangagwa is busy rebuilding the nation? I have nothing against MDC-T, but I think they are using obsolete ways of campaigning. — Farai Nzuda. SMS/WhatsApp: +263774111101

The story of a wife who has won a suit for her husband’s wrongful death made me happy. We can trust our courts if they give rational judgments like this. — Nkulumane. www.herald.co.zw Response to “Sixteen escape hangman’s noose” We should do away with the death penalty anyway. I’m glad the President does not believe in it and so should the rest of us. The death penalty does not discourage crime. If it did there would be no crime. — Moe Scyslack.

*** Response to “No light at the end of tunnel yet: Doctors” Doctors must not use the suffering of people as a bargaining chip. That is cruel. We have companies that have not paid their employees full salaries since 2010, but the employees still go to work because they understand the reasons why their salaries are not forthcoming. Doctors know why the Government is failing to pay them what they want. They think they are the brightest crayon in the pack. The doctors’ case is driven mainly by ego. They cannot talk about the violation of their constitutional rights when they are denying people their right to life by withdrawing their service which they pledged to give in the first place. — Masaisai. *** Response to “US demands undermine re-engagement” We need to move on. America has been a pain in the neck for some time. Let the puppets, who are so excited about it celebrate, while those who genuinely want to partner us come on board and life goes on. Only one day they will regret their decision after realising the progress the country is making and it will be too late. —Elishah.
