Response to “Parliament ejects Khupe” It never rains, but pours for Khupe. Politics seems not to be her thing, she should probably just hang her politics boots. — @ShellyMhazi. *** Responses to “City scraps interest on legacy debts” We are motivated to go and clear our debts, thank you City Council for understanding that times are tough. — @ MilesJR.

*** As much as we blame council for poor service delivery we are also partly to blame. We have to pay our bills in time to make sure that the council has the resources needed, in the meantime please let us go and clear our debts. —@ Reggis01.

Response to “Parliament

ejects Khupe” Unfortunately, Khupe again does not use her brains and acts on emotions. In politics, every dog has its day. If Chamisa had acted emotionally when he lost the Secretary-General post, where will he be? Politics is about people and they change anytime. Sad to say Madam Khupe, like your new found lawyer Madhuku and the emotional friend Gutu you have lost your political space, let us meet in the border crossing career. You remind me of Dongo, gifted, but nowhere to be found. — Tariro Musarurwa. *** Response to “Slow processing of payments irks tobacco farmers” Year after year, tobacco farmers suffer at auction floors because of the issue of payments. After all the hustles these farmers go through to grow tobacco, it is not fair that they have to encounter so many challenges. Companies and banks should prepare earlier before the sales. — Gary Lisbon.

When you are a good mother you love all of your children — good or bad. What the First Lady is doing resembles a good mother to Zimbabwe. Surely, a good heart will make some prodigal sons return home. — Craig Mhofu.

*** Most councils should learn from Gweru City Council which has issued 22 residential stands to people living with disabilities. These people need all the help they can get, especially shelter. Thank you Gweru. — Paul Ndlovu.

Response to “Investment

expert speaks out” We only need policy and changes in some of our laws by our Government, reorientation of our public sector and removal of corruption and sanctions to attract investors. In the late 1980s, I remember participating on a ZBC discussion programme chaired by Trevor Ncube. We shared ideas on the topic “Economics of Change”. We discussed policies necessary to attract investors. A lot of ideas were generated in that programme. It has taken us years to now accept the need for change being espoused under the new dispensation. — Cde Samanyanga Dotito. *** Response to “VP Chiwenga rallies farmers” Agriculture together with mining are the things that will boost our economy. As a nation we need to take it seriously. — Muriwo.

*** Farmers should work extra hard and take farming as a business. Government support must not be taken for granted hence the need to take grants and input support as a way to maximise profits. — Masinga.
