Responses to “President condemns violence, hate speech” The President has a good message. Let us shun violence and progress peacefully as a nation. The Zimbabwe we build depends on how we maintain it. — @KimDee. *** As the President promised to lead us to prosperity, let us be the mighty force in the Commonwealth as a peaceful nation. — @Hoko.

Response to “Government rewards non-striking nurses” This is a show of leadership. No government the world over allows blackmail to flourish. Every Zimbabwean should understand and share the vision that all the effort is towards turning around the economy. Why should someone wake up one day to demand a wage increase? Turnarounds are never implemented that way; it shows lack of vision on the part of the workers. If it was in my company I would fire everyone who does not share the vision. — Marufu Chivandire.

*** Response to “Khupe

raps Parliament” Khupe thinks that the speaker Jacob Mudenda, an advocate himself, could just expel her without consulting constitutional judges. If so, she must be dreaming. She left MDC-T a long time ago when she stopped attending party meetings at Harvest House only to pitch up at Morgan’s burial. Biti and company tried this, but failed. Can someone give her a few lessons? — M Chabvongodza.

The questions that boggle my mind on cash vendors remain unanswered. Why do we have cash in the street when there is no money in the banks and who is behind and protecting these cash barons? What is their contribution to the economy? Surely can we say the country has failed to put a few individuals in order? — Ray Mbada.

*** As a patriotic Zimbabwean all good work needs to be commended without passing unnecessary criticism based on political affiliation either ZANU-PF or opposition. Let us emulate the good work coupled with multi-tasked efforts done by Government to re-engage the world. Zimbabwe is destined for good things. The country is open for business investment as President Mnangagwa has been saying every day since he took office. — X-ZOLA.

Responses to “President pained by cash shortages” As a people, we have weathered a lot. We will weather the challenges by putting our people first. I love the fact that the President acknowledged the pain of the people. I pray the people will be resilient and understand that we have to buckle up and prepare for a tough ride to achieve our aspirations and build a Zimbabwe beyond our wildest imagination. — Wilson Magaya.

*** I never thought there could be such a nice speech from a Zimbabwean President. Keep the spirit up, continue being transparent and fight corruption. — Hombarume.

*** Response to “Government rewards

non-striking nurses” This is what we call leadership. Firing the striking nurses was a good move, we cannot let people die because of a $100 allowance. Those who remained at work are true heroes who value life and they deserve rewards. — Duke General Hacha.

*** Response to “Cops

demand guns” It is a good idea because cases of armed robbery are too much these days. — Claudius Muliwa.
