DeMbare leadership to blame for the poor run

- Felix Zonke, Harare.

EDITOR — The Dynamos Football Club president is trying to run away from the open reality that his leadership in fact failed to support coach Lloyd Mutasa.

They should take the blame for their failure to equip the under fire coach who should have been supported by simply ensuring that his team was undisrupted and beefed at the onset of the season.

Giving “Samaita” that ultimatum clearly shows that Kenny Mubaiwa is trying every trick in the book to blind and fool the fans instead of him being brave enough to share the blame with the coaching staff.

This attitude is costing the club. Mubaiwa and his leadership failed to support Mutasa and he is now trying to shift the blame on to a coach who could have done better with his squad intact, notably after the unavailability of chief striker Ntouba Epoupa.

His absence is clearly one of the major reasons for the club’s poor start this season.

Mubaiwa should tell DeMbare fans how he intends to assist the coach to find replacements by simply making the funds available, especially after having received that package from NetOne.

Instead he wants us to believe that it’s Mutasa who is entirely to blame for our current problems. His ultimatum is very misplaced and ill-advised.

Unless Ken sorts out the mess, DeMbare will continue to perform badly.
