Restore your confidence

-

SO OFTEN we are involved in all forms of nastiness and malice where we go out of way to hurt or injure others. Sometimes we do it innocently and sometimes we do it as a result of a desire that we cannot explain.

Within the context of our work, we use words as the weapon that injures the most. Recently I interacted with someone who has literally lost their self-confidence and self-worth because of being battered constantly.

They have become fearful and they are now a shadow of their former self.

When one gets battered to a point where they lose themselves, the joy of life and all that it offers is lost. Instead of going out to boldly conquer, we give up. We surrender all our God-given strength to others. The unkind words, thoughts, and fears begin to haunt us.

God intended for everyone to be the best they can be through His grace. He made you fearfully and wonderfully. Regardless of your past and what may have happened or what has been said to you, God is offering you the opportunity to step out in grace and live fearlessly.

So many people waste the gift of life by putting their trust in the words of mere mortals, rather than embracing with all their heart and faith, the wonderful promises the LORD has made about this life and the life to come.

Be blessed.
