Response to “New airline to fly into Zim” We have to start from somewhere and those baby steps are very crucial. — @ClaytonRuj.

*** The problem is that people criticise without offering a better solution and that’s why Africa remains poor. This is a good move for Zimbabwe. — @Stardom.

*** Good news, competition is badly needed in the Zimbabwe airline industry. Now can we have one from Harare to Bulawayo? — @Sipendu.

*** Responses to “British professor’s damning appraisal of Chamisa” Chamisa is excitedly spewing naked lies and absolute nonsense almost every day and The Herald is simply exposing him! Great job by The Herald! — @Tatendashereni.

*** Professor Jeater’s sentiments are spot on. Chamisa lacks knowledge on the realities of his promises. He is seeing himself in the high office already, by so doing he is hanging himself slowly. — @ManPee.

Response to “ZANU-PF primary elections reruns” Very encouraging that our party has been able to correct its weaknesses in the primary elections. This makes cadres unite and to gear us towards main elections, which we are confident of winning. Only foolish members of a family continue fighting among themselves when one makes a mistake. We are wise in ZANU-PF. We know where our political bread is buttered. — Cde Mzvinavhu.

*** Response to “Chamisa misfired,

says Coltart” No one is discrediting Chamisa; he is just being exposed, $15 billion from Trump was not true and those are Chamisa’s own words. I am sure if it was President Mnangagwa caught lying you would not be thinking he is great. — Davis Garwe.

A good comment was made by Mr Coltart concerning Chamisa. The opposition leader is not learning. He is still continuing his unrealistic promises at his rallies. This is even after he was roasted for being childish and nonsensical by many sober, analytical and learned observers. Quietly, some co-leaders in the MDC-T Alliance are embarrassed about his excesses, when promising what his government would provide if elected. Zimbabwe needs buses to curb the problem of mshika-shika and kombis before it can dream of bullet trains. — Cde Mzvinavhu.

*** The Government should pay off war veterans once and for all, so that they go home and enjoy their pensions. We recognise their contributions, but this should not be a burden to the country’s fiscus. — Shayne.

Responses to “Chamisa misfired, says Coltart” Chamisa should avoid nonsensical political lies at rallies. His credibility with investors is waning. When the current ZANU-PF Government is under pressure to reduce expenditure, what message is he sending by promising more government expenditure on his funny projects? — Chief Political Analyst.

*** My problem with the MDC Alliance is not Chamisa, but the so-called National Council, his advisers or strategists and partners like Biti and Ncube. These people have really made a fool out of Chamisa. He is just too young and excited to see this. Some of our older generation are equally childish and overly excitable. Which mature follower of Zimbabwean opposition politics doesn’t know the noble founding principles and values of the MDC, but Chamisa was a bad choice to take over from the late Tsvangirai. — Mhofu Chaiyo.
