Response to “Police banned from

eating, smoking in public” Mr Matanga make sure police are also banned from using their personal cellphones when on duty. That’s number one. — @Moeslyslack.

*** Responses to “ZANU-PF rolls

out election campaign” A mature Government; people who have learned from their mistakes. We are going to give you a good shot. All these other parties are doing it for money; no clue about how to revive Zimbabwe economy. — @Kylemberi.

*** I think President Mnangagwa has clearly emphasised on letting the past abide with its past actions. For now let us appreciate his work. He is the right man to lead Zimbabwe. — @Revesaireveso.

Responses to “Police banned from eating, smoking in public” Thank you Mr Matanga, but there is still a lot to be done regarding our police force. First things first, please rebrand that uniform. It is so outdated hence the reason why young officers shun it. It looks more like a rebel uniform from East and Central Africa. — Andrew Sandura.

*** I commend Mr Matanga for fine-tuning the police force. There was rampant corruption in the force and these guys need to be remodelled and disciplined before they are released back on to roadblocks. We need a reputable police force and the Commissioner General wants all hands on deck. — Ben Mataga.

*** Response to “Murambida, Buhera rally in Pictures” Forward ever! With ZANU-PF, Zimbabwe is in good hands. — Shadreck Dube.

*** I foresee MDC-T supporters being stressed after watching this. Do not underestimated ZANU-PF. They went to Murambinda and made noise that there was a big crowd; what do they say now after seeing this? People love ZANU-PF because it is led by mature cadres compared to MDC-T, which is led by a childish young man. — Richard Patrick Chitondwe.

Each police province has a farm meant to specifically cater for rations for police officers, but for more than 15 years police officers cannot access subsidised food. Eating in public is because police commanders are converting or stealing rations and allowances meant for police officers on the ground.

The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption should investigate these commanders. — Vigilante.

Response to “Zimbabwe set for tourism boom: VP Chiwenga” Tourism is key to our economy. A national master plan alone will not be enough until we revisit our pricing regime which is impacting negatively on our tourism sector.

Our prices are too high compared to regional pricing regimes, hence the dire need to revisit it. — Ratherford Mwaruta.

*** Responses to “Police banned from eating, smoking in public” An officer must be respectable, clean shaven, and always alert.

How can they do their job properly when they are on a cellphone or carrying large plastic bags?

They should also wear clean uniforms and assigned jackets, not football club-like jackets. — Thetruth2088.

*** Police officers must to follow orders. Time for corruption is over, professionalism is here. — Mapuwei Madziwa.
