Season and blessings of Pentecost

- Bishop B. Manjoro Dunamis

“And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptised with water; but ye shall be baptised with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.” — Acts 1:4-5.

Today I will be talking to you about the promise of the Father which was given to us on Pentecost.

Easter was commemorated some weeks ago.

You know Pentecost came seven weeks after resurrection. This is a good time and a good season.

Be visited mightily by the promise of the Father, the Holy Ghost.

Hallelujah, I like the Holy Ghost!

If you desire a gift, this is the day, this is the season. It has been released. Someone must wish to f ill the whole stadium with souls coming to Jesus’ desire to be used for the advancement of the Kingdom. That thing you desire must be imparted today by the Holy Ghost.

And Jesus said to his disciples, “I’m going but wait for the promise of the Father.”

He was the one who was to introduce the real Pentecost. The real one is authored by the spirit of God! Listen to me friends. You may be wondering why your life has been dry and empty. You need the Holy Ghost in your life.

There is no healing the sick, casting out devils without the Holy Spirit. He is the one who brings it all. Jesus said “I have to go, for Him the comforter to come.”

In life, there are things that happen, that you can’t tell anyone, that’s why the comforter is there.

Even if you have been crying, suffering and heartbroken, the comforter is here for you.

Every born again Christian needs the promise of the Father! When he comes, he will guide you.

Confusion will go.

Many people have many plans, but they need guidance.

Yes, people can try giving you ideas, and counsellors can do their best, but it might not go far.

But when the Holy Ghost guides you, it will last for a long time.

He knows the beginning from the end.

His advice may not be what you thought.

Hear from me, even if it seems silly, if you obey, doors will open.

The foolishness of God is wiser that the best wisdom and advises of this word.

It is his time, his dispensation. Walk with him, don’t leave him behind.

With the third God in the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, your feet will be guided.

Your feet will not slumber in his presence, no, it is not possible.

He is there for your protection. When you walk in strange areas, you might get frightened.

But when the spirit is there, nothing will touch you, for you are in the hedge of fire.

If someone at work points a finger at you and threatens you with a curse thinking you won’t

come the next day, they will see you strong and present smiling and shining.

Wherever you go, desire his presence.

When you are divinely protected. You sleep soundly. When the witches come, they will find you asleep but bursting in tongues.

You will not wake up since you will be praying in your sleep. And they say “this one doesn’t sleep how do we touch him/ her?”

Some things will be set up in your office, but nothing will happen to you.

No one can touch you, like Job you are in a hedge of protection!

For with God all things are possible — Mark 10:27.
