Mahachi appointed Quattro brand ambassador
AWARD-winning gospel artiste Tatenda Mahachi has been appointed as the new brand ambassador for a car servicing company Quattro Service Centre.
The one-year partnership will see the star featuring in in a series of the company’s brand and product communication campaigns as well as print adverts and television commercials
The collaboration was revealed on Wednesday at a press conference that was held at Cresta Oasis hotel by Quattro Service Centre.
Speaking at the press conference, Quattro marketing manager Tatenda Maruve said they carefully chose the brand ambassador who they believed could take the brand to another level.
“As a servicing company it has always been our goal to be able to achieve greater heights in being the leading servicing company for Audi and Volkswagen in Zimbabwe. To achieve this goal, we saw it worthy to find a face that can represent us within the market and be our brand ambassador.
“After a whole lot of considerations we could not resist the sensational award-winning gospel artiste Tatenda Mahachi who has managed to penetrate markets beyond the Zimbabwean boarders such as South Africa,” said Maruve.
Mahachi, who was already a user of the Audi brand, said he got to know the company after he had a breakdown and he was satisfied by its services.
“I have always been a fan of Audi. I got to know Quattro after I had a breakdown and I was referred to them by a friend. From there, we maintained a good relationship and I made a decision that they will be the only ones to service my car,” said Mahachi.
He added that his mission as the brand ambassador is to bring more customers and increase sales.
“I want to prove a point that corporates and artists can have a synergy and work in a partnership and this can bring results. I am looking forward to bring results and that is to be seen in terms of numbers and clients increasing. This is an opportunity for Zimbabwean corporates to understand that engaging with artist will bring a positive change to their brands,” he said.
Quattro Service Centre is a motor vehicle servicing company that specializes with two models of vehicles namely Audi and Volkswagen.
It was established in May of 2016 and just last month it marked its two year existence and full functionality.
