Response to “Mubaiwa

throws in the towel” Given the situation at hand, no one can ask him to stay. It’s better to try a new man than keep Mubaiwa on board. Go well. — @Ray.Mbada.

*** Responses to “More poll surveys

point to ED victory” That is obvious as this economy needs a tried and tested leader who has seen it all to get the country out of the quagmire we are in. — @EzraTinei.

Response to “Mubaiwa

throws in the towel” Good decision Mr Mubaiwa. Yes, there was a fair share of success under your leadership and personally I appreciate and thank you for that. However, such a mess is just too much and somehow was now diluting all of your success. Fans want the team to win and if ever what we were reading in the press is true that the team had no soccer balls at some stage, then surely the fans had every right to make noise. You as the president should not have allowed such a scenario honestly. Yes, there could have been a lot of interference, but to sink to such a low cannot be accepted. You have made the right decision and the same fans who were attacking you will respect you for making such a bold decision. Those that were interfering will also face the same music from the fans if they do not act in a way that improves the club. The whole NPF thing is a joke. It’s a creation of disgruntled old chaps whose aim is to regain power with no intention whatsoever to serve the country in the best interests of its citizens. — Emerald.

Responses to “Mubaiwa

throws in the towel” Thanks Kenny, go well. Your departure has been long overdue. You were crying that the executive has not been supportive to you yet you were not supportive to players and coaches too. You were just good at giving match ultimatums to coaches, heaping all the blame on them yet you as the boss had a number of things you were not fixing. One thing is your failure to sign long-term contracts for players and every end of season players come and go and this leaves the coach with a headache of rebuilding the team annually. Also you left the renewal of player contracts until too late as if DeMbare is the only team. Players had no option. You have been dishonouring player contracts and neglecting player welfare. Remember they also have families to feed. You did not appreciate Mutasa’s efforts even though he was facing player exodus each year leaving him with the only option of finding new young players. This left the team with no time for players to gel. All this summed up means you do not have a clue for the club’s future and you have actually reduced the team to some unfamiliar low status under your leadership. Please leave and give others with focus and vision a chance. — MuDeMbare.

*** Good move Ken! It was overdue. You do not experiment with big clubs like DeMbare by recycling failed coaches. It’s about results and if you do not deliver, the world over you get the sack and the club moves on with capable people. Now the team is back and to other teams in the league beware! —Eliasha.
