Nomination Court chaos Chamisa’s fault

- Kumbirai Gwende, Via e-mail.

EDITOR — Nelson Chamisa betrayed Morgan Tsvangirai by courting characters who had fallen out with the late former prime minister.

The confusion people like David Coltart, Welshman Ncube and Tendai Biti bring is the reason why Tsvangirai could not trust those men.

Sadly, Nelson Chamisa in his youthful naivety, took the devil to bed, hence the disintegration of MDC-T left by Tsvangirai.

The firing of trusted lieutenants like Thokozani Khupe and Obert Gutu has resulted in a wrangle over the logo as well as the name of the MDC-T brand.

This has cast the Nomination Court proceedings into chaos on the part of the ever multiplying MDC-T factions.

All this would not have happened had Chamisa worked to unite the party as Tsvangirai would have wanted.

He allowed vultures to encircle him and what is lost on him is that the MDC-T is the only party with a decent following in that doomed alliance.

PDP cannot fill a bus with its supporters, same applies to the circus led by Agrippa Mutambara and it is not clear why Chamisa would split a party with structures to appease nonentities.

This election has been delivered to ZANU PF on a silver platter because of one man’s inability to discern between good and toxic advice.

With such deliberate madness, they should not cry rigging when ZANU PF wins. The electorate favours order.
