Response to “ED preaches peace ahead of elections” The Government of Zimbabwe has proven to the world that it actually can foster peace. —@kokeraichisvo. *** Response to “Harare sends SOS to Govt” City Health Department pays as much as three times what the Government pays its health personnel. They turn around at this eleventh hour and request Government to pay its 50 percent obligation for health services provided to residents of Harare. Why am I finding this odd? —@Farayinziramas2.

Response to “A police officer stops an unregistered vehicle at a roadblock along Samora Machel Avenue in Harare. ZRP is targeting unregistered motor vehicles. #PicOfTheDay #ZimpapersViews” Sorry to say this, but I did not know there was a road in this world where unregistered vehicles are allowed to ply. Only vehicles destined for export should be unregistered and must bear a dealer’s registration plate. — Kahindi Wewu.

Why was the Warriors Legends match poorly marketed? It was a rushed decision, we expect better from ZTA. — Terry.

*** Macheso’s album is not that great, to be honest. I wish the media would stop misleading the man. He needs to reinvent himself; his sound is stuck in a timewarp. — Joze, Highfields.

Response to “I’m not a politician: Nkosana Moyo” If you are not a politician, you won’t win an election. If you approach individuals and disparate groups, you won’t get a lot of votes.

In order to succeed, you have to be both a politician and an efficient manager. I think President Mnangagwa suits this better than any other candidate. — Pepsi.

*** Your idea is good Mr Moyo; but already ED has started to put into practice all that you have said. He is prioritising economics over politics and he is both an economist and politician. — Dzimbahwe.

*** It’s good to have a decent person to be in charge of a country. We have one already. ED is great. — Henry Mwaruwari.

This shows how politically mature ED is. Peace is a necessary ingredient for free and fair elections. It also shows that Zimbabwe is in a new dispensation which has created a better political environment. Chamisa and other frivolous parties must not bark; rather they must be mature and emulate ED .Thank you President! It shows that you’re closely following your mantra “the voice of people is the voice of God.” — Innocent Rwirayi.
