Egypt a must, Babylon by choice

- Rev R and Mrs E Juakinyu.

Genesis 15 vs 13-14; And God said to Abram, Know positively that your descendants will be strangers dwelling as temporary residents in a land that is not theirs (Egypt) and they will be slaves there and will be afflicted and oppressed for 400 years . . . THERE are things you do not have power over. You cannot choose parents, family, relatives, gender and race or change the past.

Do not lose sleep on things you do not have control over. You cannot stop birds from flying over your head. What you can stop is for birds to build nets on your head and lay eggs.

You are a sum total of the choices and decisions you make in life. Have power on your thought life, think straight and think things that matter.

Every challenge has an expiry date. When you lose something dear learn to recover from your loss in the earliest and soonest possible time.

Do all that you can during your time. Do not procrastinate. The next generation is counting on you. Our God is a transgenerational God. Be connected to Him. Know his plans for your life.

You can shape and control your future.

Enlarge the area of your influence in your time. Leave a legacy for the next generation.

Leave this world a better place than you found it.

1 Chronicles 4 vs 9-10; Jabez was honourable above his brothers, but his mother named him Jabez (sorrow maker), saying, because I bore him in pain. Jabez cried to the God of Israel, saying, Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my border and that Your hand might be with me and You would keep me from evil so it might not hurt me! And God granted his request.

Have a good culture Egypt will train and teach you the dynamics of life.
