Response to “Acting PG turns partially blind” Hey, what is this country turning to? This is nothing, but witchcraft. I wish the Acting Prosecutor-General Mr Hodzi the best and I hope his sight will be restored. — @Mujubheki.

*** I really wonder who wrote that letter. This case should be thoroughly investigated. It might not be witchcraft, but the person who sent that letter might have planted poisonous substances with the intention of making him blind. — @Lea Toriro.

Response to “Wheat imports: Grain

millers come to the rescue” Wonderful news about the wheat for bread and biscuits for Christmas. But what will be the price of a loaf? I hope still $1.10 and not $4 as some robbers are talking about? — Nelson Moyo.

*** Response to “PED Gudo retires” I personally know this woman. I worked as a teacher in the Midlands for quite a long time. This woman did a great job and she should be applauded for that. She made sure that everything was moving smoothly especially for primary school pupils. I hope the next PED will continue with the good work that Amai Gudo started. — Ndlovu P.

*** Response to “Mash West heading

for exciting times: Mliswa” Women in power. Way to go Minister. We are eagerly waiting for these exciting times in Mashonaland Best. — Zandile.

Response to “Govt warns schools

demanding forex” Thank you, Secretary. This disease is catching up very fast with most schools arguing that their services are paid for in US dollars hence the demand for forex. We urge the Government to facilitate provision of forex by lobbying the RBZ to assist where there is need. A case in point is the Dominican Convent School which advised parents that from next year they will split the fees into RTGS and a USD payment of US$200. We feel this is blatantly unfair and something has to be done as a matter of urgency. Most schools are threatening closure to instil fear in parents so that they get the precious currency. — Eliah.

Response “Unity key for Africa to

modernise, develop: ED” That is true Mr President. African countries should all unite and rebuild their nations which European colonisers destroyed. We are one people — our culture, beliefs and religion — are just one. Let us re-unite once more and forget all about the fake borders that were put in place by the colonialists. If we unite I am sure Africa can become the most powerful continent since we have all the resources here with us. Our motherland is very rich; all we need is unity. — Cde Majabvi.

*** Response to “CHEVRONS,

YOU BEAUTY!” I don’t want to sound negative, too many Zimbabweans have adopted this attitude. So congratulations to the Chevrons, but bear in mind this was against Bangladesh. It’s a stepping stone towards recovery and I sincerely hope you will improve from here until you can challenge teams like Australia, England, India and South Africa on their own turf. Good luck! — Masaisai.

*** Response to “City retirement boob

backfires” City of Harare is just full of drama. It never does anything right at all. First, it is failing to deliver services to residents who pay money. Now this? I think it should just close down because it has failed. — Nyashadzaashe.
