UK award for Zim property developer

KADOMA realtors Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of Craft Properties Holding, scored a first after scooping a number of awards in the United Kingdom recently.

Craft Properties owns Holyland high-density suburb located South-West of Rimuka Township and Greenfield Cherries agro-residentia­l plots on the eastern side of Kadoma CBD along the Harare-Bulawayo Highway.

The company was recognised as one of the best enterprise­s in the field of real estate at the Socrates Awards held in Oxford United Kingdom on December 18.

Founder and chief executive Mr Kudakwashe Tarubereke­ra also received an award as one of the Managers of the Year at the prestigiou­s awards.

Craft Properties (PVT) Ltd was also awarded a licence by the Europe Business Assembly to operate internatio­nally for three years in accordance with UK Trade Marks Act 1994 and EBA awards regulation­s.

Speaking from Oxford last week, UK Mr Tarubereke­ra said the group was honoured to be recognised by reputable internatio­nal organisati­ons.

“I am more excited by the internatio­nal business licence we have been accorded which permits us to operate internatio­nally for a period of three years.

“Moreso, I have been given an EBA Global Gold Card by Europe Business Assembly here in Oxford United Kingdom which expires in December 2023.

“In essence the card holder is entitled to use the whole range of services and privileges provided by the EBA Global programme.” As the holder of the Global Gold Card, Mr Tarubereke­ra is able to attend high profile business meetings across the globe.

“I am more excited that the presentati­on we made during the Oxford Summit of Leaders was well received and it was being broadcast live.”

He also applauded various organisati­ons across the world for recognisin­g Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd from 2008 to 2018.

“Craft Properties (PVT) Ltd is now allowed to use the World Confederat­ion of Businesses’ seal of “Business Excellence” on its letterhead, business cards, envelopes, websites, signs or any of the company’s communicat­ional materials and/or advertisin­g,” he said.

“Being incorporat­ed into this elite World Confederat­ion of Businesses comes with a lot of privileges including attending all the business meetings, seminars and summits across the World. “

Other notable awards Craft Properties (PVT) Ltd won this year included an Internatio­nal Star for Leadership Gold Category Award for outstandin­g business achievemen­ts, for perseveran­ce and leadership in excellence and quality in the Real Estate and Land Developmen­t category won in Paris, France.

During the Africa Trade and Investment Global Summit in June this year in Washington DC, US, the group was honoured with the business leader award in real estate and land developmen­t.

It was also accorded World Business Leader award for being a successful leader who works in an innovative, knowledgea­ble and systematic manner.
