The Herald Social Media Feedback
@HeraldZimbabwe Response to “ED adds weight to
national clean-up” Cleaning the country is very important as it builds social relations, sense of belonging, unity and patriotism. From there comes the need and desire to work for Zimbabwe and our economy. Yes! Keeping the country clean is important for the rebuilding of our country. — @ manmah28.
*** Response to “Cops demand bribe from fuel dealer” This is very unacceptable from law enforcement agencies. They need to fear God and respect the community and the country. God bless Zimbabwe. — @BrianKasu. The Herald — Zimbabwe
Response to “Schools opening
evokes mixed feelings” I hope teachers will not follow in the footsteps of doctors. It will be a complete disaster. — Munya Kambande.
*** Responses to “‘Odd’ couple
charms First Lady” I think as Zimbabweans we are still in the Stone Age. What was the problem with that man? In the Western world, one would see men changing diapers, does it show anything amiss? That is love between the father and child as well as their family. We should do away with this kind of thinking. What is wrong with men helping around the house? — Berman.
*** Zimbabweans don’t you feel for that man? How much is he going through because some people decided to make fun of him? You don’t know the reason why he was carrying that baby. He deserves an award for being the best dad. If it was a celebrity or someone prominent you wouldn’t have heard that mockery. Shame on you Zimbabweans. — Markie Muz.
*** There is absolutely nothing wrong with that couple. I am a man and am saying well done to him in showing what true love means. Why should wives be the only ones to carry babies on their backs? In most cases women end up with back problems and the same men abandon them. — True Love.

Response to “50 survive
bus accident” The VID needs to find ways of inspecting public transport and see if they are roadworthy, because some of these things can be avoided. Kombis are often driven without a lot of important things that affect other drivers, like brake lights and view mirrors. Sometimes these kombis even have broken windscreens and no wipers. So, when it’s raining how do these drivers see? It is important to have public transport go for inspection before they are on the roads, as they carry a lot of people. — Productive Zimbo. www.herald.co.zw
Response to “Land barons warned off New City” I hope one day we will transfer the capital to other cities so that they can also develop for example Joburg/Pretoria, Lagos/Abuja etc. — Pastor Farie.
*** Response to “Forex allocation committee named” I’m sure this committee will be highly effective. At present the RBZ is allocating forex to banks, who in turn are simply misusing these funds among the managers, purchasing high end company cars, and spending on visa cards with no limits. The banks are corrupt in a nutshell. We need visibility of what this committee is doing. — Bert.
*** Responses to “Sanctions must end,
insists Masiyiwa” Calling for sanctions is being traitorous against your own country. It’s like poisoning your drinking water to get rid of germs because even those who called for sanctions are also suffering. — Truth.
*** Sanctions must go! Sadly, the West is resolute in denying black people the chance to thrive. I agree with Mr Masiyiwa, but we should wake up, wage a united front as Africans and dominate economically. After all we possess the resources. It is only our mental approach in terms of priorities and self-development, which is cancerous. — Charera Mazuwa.
