Response to “Upsurge in use of lethal weapons worrying” We need awareness campaigns on other non-violent methods of conflict resolution that people can pursue in times of disagreement. I have also noticed how impatient some appear to be, it is a dangerous state of being. — @mario20343.

Response to “Denver still a DeMbare player” Denver needs to go back to Division One and reinvent himself without the pressure of being attached to a big team. — @Maumau.

Response to “Harare left with 18 months’ water supply” Let’s hope it rains heavily because the city council is letting us down. Haven’t seen running water for a while now. — Madyirapanze.

Response to “First Lady scales up fight to empower girl child” The First Lady has a good heart, women need representation and should be empowered. — Chinamhora.

Response to “$2,1m for Kadoma water rehab” Water is very important to invest in especially if we want to prevent diseases such as cholera and typhoid. Let’s hope the $2,1 million is enough to have the water running in Kadoma. We thank the new Government for its efforts. Other places like Chitungwiza should also be looked at when it comes to the issue of water. — Nationalistic Zimbo.

Those are very good signs once cracks begin to emerge it will expose the real agenda behind the strike and also let’s not forget that we come from different backgrounds and for some hunger is beginning to manifest at home and this week is going to be very decisive. — Eliah.

Some of the doctors are insincere and are negotiating in bad faith. Thumbs up to those who turned up for work. The renegades will be left in the cold. Government has addressed most of their grievances, but they chose not to return to work. — Letty Mabhena.

Responses to “Delta hikes beer prices” No one will die because he or she has not consumed alcohol, but people will die if they don’t get drugs in hospitals. So let’s put higher taxes on luxuries and generate revenue for more important things. Delta knows that even if they had hiked their prices by 100 percent, people will not reduce their consumption. So while people are mourning about rising prices, they still buy, hence businesses are no longer hesitating to hike prices every day. — Masaisai.

Beer price hike is justifiable, Delta needs raw materials to continue to operate. People have been charged high prices for the product by retailers yet Delta was not benefiting from their products. — Gakangoma77.

Responses to “Doctors divided over strike . . . as some resume work at hospitals countrywide” It would appear that some doctors are not sincere in their negotiations. Government continues to bend back backwards to meet concessions being demanded by the doctors only for some to consult with an invincible hand and go ahead to change the posts. Doctors should consider Government’s efforts which is within Government’s ability and the plight of the people. As Zimbabweans, we appreciate those doctors that have managed to go back to work, it helps save lives. — Prosperity Mzila.

Since there were some talks concerning their grievances, I think it is time that they go back to work and attend to the lives of patients who are continuously dying in the hospitals because of the absence of doctors, while their queries are being attended to by the Government. Why can’t they feel pity for our fellow citizens who are losing lives. — Arnold Tinoda Mupfawi.
