“These meetings will run concurrently and will be addressed by the two Politburo members.”

Eng Ncube said the purpose of the meetings was to brief party supporters about the economic situation obtaining in the country, and to find out from them if the inputs for the Presidential Input Support Scheme were being distributed fairly, without prejudice.

Eng Ncube said the party wanted to asses security threats in the province.

“The meeting is also an opportunity for us as Zanu-PF to assess any security threats in our party,” he said.

“We will also take time to assess businesses that were damaged during the shutdown.

“But as it is, something is being done by the Government to make sure that these people are able to revive their businesses.”
