The curse must go

- Bishop Dr B. Manjoro Dunamis

IF YOU don’t realise that the curse is there, all you will be doing is making noise. I’m here to talk about the blessing and the curse so that you know where you stand because everything you set your hand on this year must be a miracle.

Genesis 12; 1-3 reads: “Now the Lord said unto Abram, get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from your father’s house, unto a land that I will show thee; And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shall be a blessing; And I will bless those who bless thee and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.’’

We see God speaking to Abram, who grew in an environment where they were many gods, telling him to go to a place where he was to be shown. Now a blessing and a curse come in the same way, by talking, so do not allow anybody to speak evil upon your life.

The Lord said if you do that I will make you a great nation, bless you and make your name great, meaning that the man was being injected with power in his blood to succeed. If you are blessed, you are empowered to make it in life.

You can be saved and get born again but carrying a curse, did you know that?

Many are saved, but their things do not flow, that spirit of stagnancy must be broken in Jesus’ name.

When you are blessed and a blessing also, then what kind of a person are you?

It is when you see someone suffering and you bless the person that you know that success is yours.

Many remain as they are due to failing to lend a hand when they can, remember, we are blessed to bless others.

“I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you” says the Lord.

As long as you are blessed, no one will curse you because the moment they point a finger at you, God does the same for them.

Ooh Hallelujah our Jehovah is great.

In Genesis 22;16-18, Abraham, after obtaining the seven blessings, took Isaac as an offering before the Lord.

When he was about to kill his only son, the Lord restrained him.

Because of his obedience, the Father told him that “in blessing I will bless you, in multiplying I will multiply you”, meaning that when you listen to God, you will have the blessing of multiplication.

Your children shall possess the gates of the enemy, when they say you won’t sleep tonight, then you will do it soundly, truly the blessing is powerful.

Let me talk a little bit about the curse.

Joshua 6;26, after obtaining Jericho, Joshua gave an instruction: “Cursed be the man before the Lord, that rises up and builds this city; he shall lay the foundation in his first born and in his youngest shall he set up the gates of it.”

A curse can live for many years in the soil, but someday it will resurface again, after 500 years (1 Kings 16; 34).

One man re-built the city, and it was done unto him according to the words of Joshua.

Today, every negative word spoken against your family must be rendered powerless by the blood of the lamb.

It does not matter where the curse came from, when you know t hat you are cursed, then you will surely be delivered from it.

Until you realise that you have a thorn under your foot, how will you remove it?

2 Samuel 1 shows that a curse also has power.

David cursed a mountain, up until today, no grass has ever grown on it.

If there will only be a person who will reverse that curse, things will get back to normal. A blessing is forever. Once you are blessed, you are blessed, but a curse can be reversed, even if a dead man has proclaimed it.

In Genesis 27; 24-40, there is a story about how Jacob tricked his father into bless- ing him, when the former found out, he wept bitterly and said to Esau: “By the sword (word of God) you shall live, and it shall come to pass when you have become restless, then you shall break your brother’s yoke off your neck.”

Somebody must become restless, the way things are slowing down is not normal.

That which used to say “no” must say “yes” because I am equipped to succeed.

Every curse that follows the bloodline, when you realise it, declare a reversal in the name of Jesus.

We do not care who did it, we only care to know what was done, and we render it powerless, only become restless

Mark 10; 27: “For with God all things are possible.”
