Responses to “Fresh corrupt bigwigs list out soon — Matutu” If the fight against corruption goes as expressed by ZANU-PF youths, it will go a long way in curbing the culture of theft in the country. The economy can quickly return to normalcy, raise business confidence and attract the most needed investment from both local and foreign players. Keep up the efforts. — @Rinashe. *** Let’s move fast. Even those charging unrealistic prices are now panicking. Sweet move. — @Eliah.

Response to“Assist Zim recovery efforts, says Malema”

Thank you Mr Julius Malema, but it’s unfortunate that South Africa is still run by Boers indirectly, hence, they are hard-hearted. They do not believe in the spirit of assisting another black liberated country, especially Zimbabwe as she was on the forefront in eliminating apartheid. —Eliah.

Response to “Minister Mupfumira spends second night in custody”

My father, up to this day has never benefited from his NASSA deductions while he was employed. Now when he travels from the rural areas to inquire, they tell him his benefits are far less than his bus fare. — @Vangodza.

Response to “Anti-corruption fight real”

This is a step in the right direction; all the untouchables in the old dispensation, who committed graft, should be brought to book. — Chido Gatsi.

Response to “Cholera fears haunt Glen View”

We all know the source of these diseases. Isn’t it strange that the MDC-ALLIANCE is spending resources organising street demonstrations, while their constituencies are at the mercy of their inept and corrupt ways of running city affairs? When are the residents of Harare going to learn that the same party they purport to love is consuming them? The problem with urban dwellers is that they have resolved to blame Government for anything and everything messed up. It will take a disaster of unparalleled proportions to convince urban voters that they are their own enemies. Because by now they should have learnt from previous mistakes. — Masaisai.

Responses to “Editorial Comment: Can Mapeza steer Warriors ship?”

What is wrong with the current assistants? What is the difference between Rahman Gumbo and Norman Mapeza? Mapeza proved that when it comes to serious international engagements, he is out of sorts. His failure in CAF Club Championship twice in a row shows that he is not the best of the worst. For me, Mapeza would be a disaster. Let’s see what the two former assistants do at CHAN. — Masaisayi.

Responses to “ZACC snaps Minister Mupfumira “

The President should suspend her until the matter is finalised. — Gerembasiyo.

*** Good start. Just pace it up a bit. We want to see the corrupt behind bars and returning the loot to Zimbabweans, the rightful owners of the stolen wealth. — Weston Magocha.

*** They must appropriate her ill-gotten wealth if she is found guilty, that will be a good lesson to other corrupt Government officials. — Witness Bote.

*** Corruption involving land is rife at the Harare City Council Housing Department in Remembrance Drive, Mbare. People are being deprived of their right to residential stands by corrupt housing officers at Remembrance Drive Offices. We urge the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission to investigate that department. So many reports have been made to the City of Harare human resources department, but nothing has been done to the culprits. We suspect the housing officers are working in cahoots with the City’s big chefs (directors) in looting the residential stands to their own benefit. We urge ZACC to conduct a lifestyle audit on these housing officers, as some stands are being registered in their wives’or family names in order to avoid arrest. ZACC please move into Remembrance Drive, Mbare, offices as soon as possible. — Chipo Choga.
