Response to “Let’s enhance Zim-Russia ties” There is a lot of sense in that statement. Russia contributed significantly to our independence and will want to see us succeed! You can’t say that of the US/UK axis who fought so hard, to a standstill even to keep us in chains. They lost, but have never given up, hence the sanctions, provocations and the lying. They should know: the higher a monkey climbs a tree the more it exposes its backside! Their days of world domination are coming to an end, instead of sanctions they should be busy building bridges whilst their voice still has a bit of credibility left as they are on a slippery slope to losing the many friends and global influence they currently enjoy! — @Truthhurts.

Response to “Humanitarian fund gets US$100m in 24hrs” We sink or swim together comrades, but some will sink first. Comrades, we are connected, in more ways than we can imagine. It is our collective responsibility to ensure the country has enough food. It is not the responsibility of Government alone. Everyone must do their small duty and do it well. It is us as a collective. Our collective mentality, character and culture will make us swim or sink. And yes, the international community bears responsibility towards Zimbabwe as they have allowed illegal sanctions to prevent us from effectively trading with others in the world community and ensuring our food security. — @Anthropologist.

Responses to “Dialogue the only way: Khupe” I agree Madam Khupe. For us to attain independence we fought a protracted war, but we ended up on a negotiating table. So, let’s give dialogue a chance, it’s less damaging and brings in permanent solutions. — Moyo Chirandu.

Peace be with you Zimbabwe, it’s everyone’s duty to maintain peace. — Gakangoma77.

Responses to “President fires jailed Mupfumira” This is a good move Mr President all corrupt individuals in Government should be kicked out of those positions, we need people who are honest and have a heart for the people of Zimbabwe. — Machu.

Thank you President please get rid of all corrupt individuals. They do not care about the future of this country. — Dadza.

That’s a good move, ZACC should keep on doing this great job. Let’s continue with the naming and shaming system. We are tired of these corrupt individuals. — Progressive Zimbabwean.

Responses to “We paid back NSSA’s US$20m: Metbank” Please dismiss the NSSA board also, it’s not only Mupfumira who is corrupt at NSSA, remember there is a board. Let’s deal with these corrupt individuals once and for all. — Gakangoma77.

It looks like the bank is still culpable, if the former Minister Mupfumira was not arrested were they going to release the money? Metbank brand is already tainted because of conniving with corrupt individuals, they must practise good business ethics in future. — Witness Bote.

Responses “Diarrhoea outbreak shuts council office” The rainy season will soon be upon us. In about six weeks’ time we expect the first rains to fall. Will the municipal authorities all over the country be ready to deal with the issues that come as a result of rain? Blocked drainages, damaged sewer lines, uncollected dumps and heaps of garbage, potholes, flooding, broken power lines, riverbank cultivation, etc? Since all urban councils are dominated by the “party of excellence” MDC-A as they describe themselves, isn’t it wiser that instead of spending donor money planning street demonstrations, the party instead demonstrates its “excellence” by taking service delivery a notch from zero for its loyal supporters in urban areas? Surely, that could earn them a vote or two in 2023. But then is it necessary, since they have already declared election 2023 rigged? It’s unbelievable that men and women who are called moms and daddies each day when they arrive home after “work” behave more childish than their own children. — Masaisayi.

Responses to “Govt to increase SMEs support” The move by Government has taken a point in the right direction as always considering that small to medium enterprises contribute an important role to the economy. It is our hope that women and youths will be among the people who will be part of the fund. — Machu.
