Response to “Huge pay-out

plan for civil servants” Dr Sekai Nzenza thank you for planning on increasing our salaries as civil servants. We are finding it difficult to survive in this economic situation. We have children we have to send to school as well as families to take care of and it has been difficult for us. We hope that our salaries will be sufficient enough to cater for our families. — Tapuwa.

*** At some point, MDC-ALLIANCE supporters will wake up and realise they are being used. After learning that the demonstration was no longer taking place, the MDC leaders did not bother to tell their hooligan supporters that the days of looting under the guise of demos are over. Tough luck to those who had planned to loot. — @Jeminah.

Response to “EDITORIAL: US Embassy

has become an opposition cell” Comrades comrades! Whatever is happening, let us not get distracted with our economic programmes. Let us familiarise ourselves with two instruments of control used by modern Western imperialism; political via western ideologies on democracy and economic in the form of sanctions (and capital). Military control is no longer a viable means of directly controlling another nation or territory. Direct occupation is not palatable today. Puppets, however, are a more viable option. The contest around Zimbabwe is about its indirect control by imperialism elements in American and British societies via puppets. This contest is about using political tools (Western media with global reach to spread a negative message and the MDC as local operatives to be the source of that negative message) as well as economic tools (sanctions and sponsorship of anti-government agendas through NGOs). The plan is very simple to understand. It only needs resources. British imperialism elements use the same wealth they stole from Zimbabwe to finance these activities. On this basis, it does not matter how factual we can be in explaining the legitimacy of our Government. We need to move, to stand firm and stand true! The MDC is a tool. The job of this tool is not to reason with the legitimate leadership of Zimbabwe. It is a tool whose job is to create confusion and chaos! We must never allow the success of this agenda! Never! We must stop the subversive actions of the MDC at all costs! — Anthropologist.

Response to “Hardships

will pass: President” Thank you for making this clear President. There is no country that has not faced problems and we believe they will come to pass. We need to work together as a country and disengage in these demonstrations because seriously speaking, they take you nowhere. If we manage to support our Government in times like these we will live to see a much better Zimbabwe. Together we can. — Concerned citizen. Response to declares Zim solidarity day” The racists who imposed the sanctions will never budge, not an iota! SADC has to unite and begin implementing measures that will make the cost of doing business for these countries’ companies in the region very expensive! This will make them think twice because the fall of a ZANU-PF government and the rise of a puppet MDC government will result in the re-colonisation of the whole region by these devils. A clear message has to be sent that Khama is no more, he was the stumbling block to SADC unity and the Achilles heel used for “divide and rule” tactics by the regime in North America! — Truthhurts.

*** Response to “Go home Nero! The

demons are with you” I have tried the best I can to look for Chamisa, Hwende, Biti, Tabitha Khumalo, Sikhala Job, Mudzuri, Mwonzora, Komichi (his face is hard to miss) in the crowds that were preparing to demonstrate and I found none of them. I saw Biti at the High Court only. Today a few individuals are nursing bruises and sore eyes while the organisers of the demonstrations are lounging in their cosy homes watching the drama that unfolded on TV with Chamisa probably commenting that those who received the thin end of riot police sjamboks and clouds of tear smoke in their eyes were stupid. That is what immature politics is all about. And I again ask; what makes a full grown up man and woman go out onto the street to demonstrate and suffer for someone else’s ego, comfort and insatiable quest for power? Some are obviously going to do time in jail. Is it really worth it? — Masaisai.
