Response to “2 more die as violent storms wreak havoc”

We have to take precautions this rainy season. When it is raining, let us not seek shelter under trees, as they may collapse and kill us. Also, let us avoid standing next to tall buildings. — Chofamba. ***

Response to “Zimpapers writers shine”

This is very good news. It shows how talented and ethical Zimpapers reporters are. Mostly, they promote the public interest in their line of stories which is a characteristic of positive reporting. Well done, continue doing the great work. — Chipo.

Response to “EcoCash upgrade hit by glitches”

What these people are doing is not making sense. Are they trying to tell us that we will not be able to purchase airtime and bundles using EcoCash soon? They know how the platform is important to us, and now they are doing this. At the end, this will only force people to switch to NetOne and Telecel. — Mudavanhu.

Response to “Warriors ready for Zambezi battle”

It is usually not easy winning an away game in Africa. Zimbabwe put themselves in a difficult position where they need a positive result in Zambia. The Warriors need to treble their efforts. Home advantage does not work anymore. The team should just play extra hard and win the match despite playing in a foreign land. As a reminder, the Warriors recently lost to Somalia in Djibouti which is not Somali home ground. France are world champions and they did it away from France, England wacked Montenegro two days ago in Montenegro. I can go on and on. The belief that playing at home gives a team advantage is what is causing the Warriors to play badly. — Masaisai. ***

Response to “The unsung heroes of Mwenezi”

Someone is not doing their job. The school should be developed for the benefit of the children. Authorities should also work on improving the welfare of the teachers at Turf Primary School. This is a very small problem. Disadvantaging an already underprivileged society for a good 17 years is not something to be taken lightly. Something has to be done about this. — Truthhurts.

Response to “loses more NSSA pensioners’ money”

NSSA should have foreseen danger and invested in unquestionable inflation-proof investments like what Old Mutual has done. — Ruvimbo.

Responses to “Govt to recruit 5 000 teachers”

Our children still need teachers at their schools. If you visit some schools, you will realise that it is high time those teachers are recruited to fill the gap and attain the correct teacher-pupil ratio. This is a welcome development in terms of employment creation. — Elijah Chihota.
