Response to “MDC–A does not legally exist: Court”
The so-called MDC-Alliance is a gathering of people led by many lawyers who wilfully hide its constitution from public scrutiny and someone calls it a political party in this age? — Nobleman Runyanga

Response to “SANITARY wear must be made available and affordable, while education about menstruation and stigma around the biological process must continue, First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa has said.”
The First Lady has done a great job indeed. — @ChiukiraiLevious.

Response to “Small fuel companies are now allowed to import fuel after the High Court on Wednesday overturned the decision by the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) to issue import licences to only eight major fuel companies.”
Yes, let them compete with others. Competition gives the bargaining power to the customer and consequently it leads to not only fair price settings, but also improved supply of the commodity. — @Tongogara14.

Response to “Unions raise concern over schools reopening”
These teachers’ union leaders have been in their positions for ages. Does that mean they are irreplaceable? Raymond Majongwe has been secretary-general of his union as far as memory can stretch. Does his stay in this position indicate that no other teacher can do the job?
Response to “Editorial Comment: Happy Musona is good news for the Warriors”
At 30 and as a striker, Musona must start easing into retirement. He must ask Peter Ndlovu how it is done. He should not carry on looking for “a big break” because there isn’t such for him anymore. What he must target is a well-established team, not necessarily glamorous, but well established that will give him opportunities to graduate into the management structures and continue with soccer at different levels if that is what he wants. I hope the young man has been educating himself academically because that is very important for him going forward. — Masaisai.

Response to “New clause for unmarried live-in couples”
The clause that created controversy was targeting more the welfare of children born out of this unregistered union. It was not meant to benefit mature people who willingly enter into such cohabitation. I don’t see where the children are mentioned in this amendment. Rather the amendment simply demonstrates how obsessed we are with material matters and selfishness. We are prepared to look at children born in such relationships as part of property acquired during cohabitation. The Bill must cover every aspect including the welfare of children born out of these unions. — Masaisai.

This does not represent the majority. People have the right to decide to stay together without being married, you should not take away that. You are not protecting anyone because there is no minor there. If I move in with a woman that doesn’t put me in a position to share her property when there is a fallout. –Realist.
