Still remains amiss that a big institution like Dynamos with its massive “7 million” stronghold does not have a stadium of its own, let alone basic training facilities, moreso in a country where access to land is still relatively easy. — VaGaba.

Response to “EDITORIAL
COMMENT: Complacency: Biggest danger in pandemic fight”
I agree that complacency is and will continue to be our worst enemy. It is a fact that this virus is very active in cold temperatures and we have just started our winter season.
I have observed a great deal of complacency in the past few days judging from the volume of activity on our streets and even in the city centre in general. I stopped at a traffic light and I saw a kombi on my left side.
It was fully loaded and what irked me most was that most if not all passengers, including the driver had masks, but the masks were pulled below their chins. Social distance was around 30cm. People should know that these measures are not to please the law enforcers at checkpoints or on the streets, but to protect their lives. — Kunta Kinte.

I am deeply concerned that some people are just cry-babies. On Tuesday, some complained over increased security checks. The security checks are necessary as some people were just coming to the central business district for no particular reason.
While it is regrettable that some people who were genuinely going to work were affected, those with no business in the CBD should just stay at home until the lockdown has been lifted.
We need to prevent local transmissions of Covid-19 and the best way to do this is to follow lockdown regulations. What also worried me is that the same people who were raising complaints over heightened security are usually the first to blame government if local transmission cases of Covid-19 go up. — Maita, Harare.
