ZACC has been given teeth by the new dispensation and these are the results. What we all hope now is that they will not be released, a scenario that even worries the President. — John Sigauke.

More arrests of corrupt public officials are welcome. We need to see more behind bars. Zimbabwe is our country and we want the best. Thank you President Mnangagwa for your firm stance against corruption. — Mai Tee.
Response to “Hospital suspends ops after 25 test positive”
The time lapse is really frightening. “On the 13th of July 2020, Zvishavane District Hospital received eight PCR positive results of which two were of health care workers. These results prompted the testing of other health care workers and other probable contacts within the hospital on the same day.” What was happening between the 13th and the 20th, we can only imagine. — Mungandidii.
Response to “Econet challenges search warrant” Where there is a suspicion bordering on criminality, there is no right to privacy to talk about. Otherwise no case in this country will be investigated because everyone will claim such a right. — Masaisai.

Response to “Only essential services staff to report for
duty”

These people are endangering the lives of the nation in a much worse way than sanctions. — Truthhurts.
*** Another thing that needs to be addressed is the fact that it seems we are now testing more. The “increase” in cases may not necessarily be an actual increase, but just confirmation of what has been the situation on the ground before we increased our testing levels. — Beautiful ones are not yet born.
Response to “Council demolishes houses in railway corridor”
People just can’t build anywhere then cry foul when the structures are demolished. — MoeScyslack2.
Response to “Chaos in planned
demos camp”
Any citizen with stamina for democratic demos should avoid using that energy illegally. It is also unconstitutional to endanger the environment for other citizens by indulging in activities that may cause the spread of Covid-19. So, all those talking about rights for demos must read our national constitution soberly. Our law enforcement forces should not be found wanting in protecting our constitutional rights. No one should be given space to jump illegally in the name of misunderstanding of rights. — Cde Mzvinavhu (Prof)
