Response to “Updated: Chin’ono wants passport back”

Hopewell is a Western sponsored journalist. Some may think he is a hero, but he is one guy who sings for his supper. — Eric.

Response to “Updated: Chin’ono wants passport back”

How come Hopewell has managed to develop his rural home, Chamisa is now an advocate, Biti now has law chambers, yet their followers are in dire straits? What is self- determination? Zimbabwe is great on its own and it is only evil minded people who thrive on negativity, hatred, anger and demonstrations who want to destroy it. What Hopewell is doing reminds me of Muzembi and Doctor Magombeyi who were allowed to go to South Africa for medical treatment and have absconded. Response to “Editorial Comment: MDC-A should give Zim a break”

Some people are so blinded by their hatred for Zimbabwe that they see Chamisa as a darling. When one spends 20 years campaigning against his own country, asking for and drafting the sanctions Bill, then that person is evil. It is very worrying that some people see nothing wrong about what Chamisa and his colleagues are doing.

How does one fix the economy when someone always derails progress? The good thing is that God is for Zimbabwe and those who thrive on the suffering of people will never rule Zimbabwe. Those who seek bloodbath will not see that happening in Zimbabwe.

What has Chamisa done to his supporters during his tenure as MP besides calling for violent demonstrations and stayaways? Zimbabwe is moving so is the rest of the world, sanctions will be defeated and those who thrive on evil and hatred will not succeed. I wonder what the position of the Zimbabwe Council of Churches is on sanctions. — L. Makombe.

Chamisa’s political behaviour and support for sanctions creates country risk and discouragement of investors in our economy.

He needs to repent like Saint Paul in the Bible. When the economy is sick because of sanctions, that means less taxes and poor government budgets. — Cde Mzvinavhu (Prof).

How can an opposition party thrive on negativity, demonstrations and stayaways? They say sanctions are targeted, against who and for what purpose?

Who is suffering from these sanctions? The day people wake up and note that these sanctions are heavily impacting on the ordinary person in the street, then Zimbabwe will speak with one voice. As human beings, let us not thrive on negativity.

Despite differences between Malema and the ANC, we have never heard Malema calling for sanctions to be imposed on South Africa, neither have we seen any other African opposition party doing so. Why does the opposition in Zimbabwe celebrate when the sanctions are imposed and call for their tightening?

It is unfortunate that because of some people’s hatred for ZANU (PF) they have also turned their anger and hatred on Zimbabwe as a country and this is wrong. — Makombe.
