Response to “Faults overwhelm Zesa’s capacity”
You have left out Dzivaresekwa. It has been five days now, no electricity, no updates. At least Zesa should just tell consumers what is happening rather than keeping quiet. —@Moholo.

Response to “Govt bans movement of dead bodies”
Given our traditional values, this very difficult decision is not going to be easy to embrace for many people, but it is necessary as the country strives to flatten the curve and curb the spread of the deadly pandemic. Tough decisions for tough times. —
Nobleman Runyanga.

Response to “Ex-Zimche boss stripped of degree”
If she went on to enrol for a degree course and passed, went on to become a top manager and acquitted her duties well, we have to re-look seriously at our entrance requirements for degree courses. They may be unnecessarily too high. There are people on our streets who would otherwise be doctors even in the so called developed countries. We have to seriously look at this issue. — Mura Tarabuku.

Great Zimbabwe University should be embarrassed maybe because their recruitment system is not watertight, but since the candidate read and passed the exams, then it is evident that many people deemed failures at O’ Level can attain degrees, especially mature students. This should open debate.

Response to “Over 11 000 houses face demolition”
Demolitions must be carried out as long as it is legal to do so. Otherwise feeling sorry for people will not solve the long-term effects of these illegal structures. The timing for demolitions is not an important subject, it’s the legality that matters. — Masaisai.

When we regularise illegality we are fuelling corruption. We strongly bear with the affected families, but the correct thing must be done. Buyers of stands will be alert if we do the right thing and this will be a strong lesson for anyone who illegally buys land or sell land. — cdepie.

MDC- A is clearly corrupt and fails to deliver to the electorate. How can the MDC- A run council let this illegal construction of houses proceed, leading to a massive loss of money by residents? — Derick Tsimba.
*** Chitungwiza Council has proved that it has failed to run the affairs of the town. Government should intervene and restore sanity. — Tirivanhu Kateera.
