Response to “Life Losses Should Inspire Teams”

We recently lost such great footballers and personalities like Steve Kwashi, Joe Mugabe and many others.

With the beginning of the new football season, I hope this will inspire our local teams to play their best football in honour and memory of the players no longer with them, a form of silent tribute for these former players. — Farai “Mshasha” Chisango.

Response to “slams Masvingo violence claims”

ZANU PF

Chamisa and his retinue of MDC Alliance faction senior members lack vision.

Even a villager in the remotest parts of Zimbabwe now knows their schemes are calculated to tarnish the image of President Mnangagwa by creating negative events such as self- assaults and self- abductions ahead of major local and global events.

Response to “Feel it, it’s over for us”

It is unfortunate that in such an important game, we had to faceoff against those that have to be currently Africa’s strongest team.

Watching Ghana play, it was very evident that there was a large difference in class between the two teams. Thomas Partey showed us all an incredibly strong strike through the ball, exemplifying the level of skill that is needed to remain competitive as a footballer in a top level Premier League team. — Phillip Mabato.

Response to “Perks to stem doctors, nurses brain drain”

I am happy to see that there is a governmental concern for medical professionals. The Covid-19 epidemic has proven that a functional and thriving healthcare system is essential to make sure that a country remains healthy, especially in the case of an emergency. People must be rewarded for their hard work and dedication to their fellow citizens, I support initiatives like this wholeheartedly. —

Response to “Former Late Basketball Hero’s”

I am glad sports are back and it will be nice to watch one of my favourite sports — basketball. While it will be great to watch our current and future basketball stars, it will be a great honour to remember our former great basketballer players, especially those that are deceased in the part they played in the formative years of the game, setting the foundation for those to come in today’s game.

For example, in the Zimbabwean context, we have the likes of the late great Ronald Garura and Hugh Hofi si, just to mention a few. — Farai “Mshamsha” Chisango
