Responses to “Forex rentals at blackmarket rates illegal —

Hodzi”

Mr Hodzi is right. Its unfair for the landlords to refuse Zimdollar payments. Where do they think we can get US dollars. — @Rwodzi

***

Mr Hodzi, I have one fear. These greedy landlords will chuck us out of their premises if we pay in Zimdollars. How can you help us on this matter. — @Simbarashe

***

This is quite complicated. Every landlord wants to earn US dollars, the hard currency and not Zimdollars. There is need for more dialogue between Government and business. Confrontation won’t help us. It will lead to chaos and the further collapse of the Zimdollar. — @ Panashe

Responses to “Zesa promises to improve electricity supply”

An announcement that ZESA will deploy “a cocktail of interventions to end the major load shedding that has hit residential areas hard and has even affected industrial areas although they are given priority,” gives us some faint hopes. ZESA must act quickly because we are tired of their statements. We need power and they must do something to improve electricity supply. — Cherima

Power cuts and black- outs are quite frustrating. We are anxious to see some positive changes in terms of power supply. ZESA must walk the talk and act quickly. — Sibanda Qhubani

***

We need action and more action. Statements alone will not help the situation. ZESA must act to improve power supplies. Gas is expensive and power black-outs leave us miserable in our homes. — Mai Chikomo

***

Cde Zhemu Soda, Minister of Energy and Power Development, please investigate ZESA for the current power cuts. Load shedding must be done for all in a fair manner without prejudicing other parts of the country.

Responses to ‘Zim football now in the

ICU’

Well said our former Zimbabwe international, Tinashe “Father’’ Nengomasha. It’s very true that Zimbabwe’s football is now in the intensive care unit and we need to find a lasting solution to the crisis. Is it money? Is it about the calibre of our coaches? Is it about the quality of our players? I’m so confused about what exactly our problem is with our football — Warriors Supporter

The Warriors’ poor showing in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers is quite disturbing. The reporter is right. Our football is dead and I wonder what can be done to save it. We are a football loving nation and it hurts badly to be on the losing end. Victory gives us hope and helps to unite the nation. — BhoBhora

Is there a solution to the crisis facing our football today? We are hopeless and we need to work out a practical solution to the problems bedevilling our football today. — Chamas

*** Responses to “Water barons cash in on desperate residents”

These people must be arrested. Water is a human right and no one must pay to access it. Council and the police must arrest these culprits who are cashing in on a basic human right – water. — Makoti Banda
