Chipinge whiz-kid appeals for help

A 17-YEAR-OLD Chipinge teenager, Richard Marore, who scored 12As during last November’s O-Level examinatio­ns is appealing for assistance to enable him to proceed to A-Level.

Richard’s mother, Ms Bridget Marore, said she was diagnosed with a rare disease which requires a lot of medication and was now facing challenges in raising fees for her other three children who are all at secondary school level.

“I have no stable job and I wish well-wishers to come on board and help me to send my son who attained 12As, 1B and 1C grades at O-Level to A-Level.

“I was diagnosed with a rare disease which draining most of my resources. My prayer is for someone to assist my son to pursue his studies.

“I am trying to link my son to Government-initiated programmes such as STEM, but I am still to get a response.

“I separated with my husband long back and I do not know where he is right now,” she said.

Richard’s results were as follows: English Language (A), English in Literature (A), History (A), Geography (A), Shona (A), Mathematic­s (A), Additional Maths (C), Statistics (A), Intergrate­d Science (A), Biology (A), Agricultur­e (A), Physics (B), Chemistry (A) and Principles of Accounts (A).
