One Fusion charms Manicaland

- Ray Bande Senior Business Reporter

ONE of the country’s leading mobile phone network service provider NetOne has endeared itself with users in Manicaland following the introduction of its OneFusion package that guarantees quality yet cheaper service.

A cursory survey by this newspaper revealed that corporate and individual NetOne users are making huge savings out of the OneFusion facility.

Apart from users in the urban areas in Manicaland, many villagers in remote areas such as Tanganda Growth Point in Chipinge and Honde Valley in Nyanga, among other areas, have embraced the package.

OneFusion combines monthly data, voice and social media bundles and has become one of the reasons that have led to a stampede for NetOne lines.

In Mutare, scores of people are seen queuing at the NetOne shop in the city central business district and its other business partners registering for new lines as the telecommunications company is matching the last six numbers of the previous line.

In an interview, Mr Brian Mutandiro acting NetOne chief executive said the OneFusion package has seen a sharp upsurge in the demand for NetOne lines.

“OneFusion is a lifestyle and we would like to thank all individuals, corporates and churches who are migrating to our network. As a corporate we will make sure that we continue to provide affordable and efficient services to Zimbabweans.

“One Fusion suits budgeted from $5 to $200 for 30 days with the $5 giving 60 minutes on net, 18mins off net, 300MB Data, 700mb Whatsapp , 900MB Facebook and 10 sms,” he said.

Micheal Chirara, from Sakubva, Mutare, described OneFusion as a brilliant initiative that promotes the use of information and communication technology ( ICT) and digital media.

Dakarai Dhlamini, from Chipinge, said: “It gives us more space to access more information because it is cheap and affordable. My family has switched to OneFusion. It’s good for my school- going children because they have more data to do their research.’’

Precious Musiyazviruipo, a student, said: “I started using OneFusion in January. My parents used to
