FERTILISER SUBSIDY

THE Food Production Committee will pay a subsidy of 20 percent on the cash price of straight Phosphate Fertiliser, subject to the amount of subsidy to any individual being on a basis of a minimum dressing of 200 pounds per acre on the acreage planted to maize, or to green manure crops where such green manure crops are grown in anticipation of a maize or wheat crop following immediately, and also subject to district Food Production Committee giving a Certificate of satisfaction as to the proposed crop program me on the farm.

Farmers applying for a subsidy must obtain a Certificate completed by the Chairman of the District Food Production Committee. Supplies of Certificate Forms have been forwarded to such committees.
