SOUGHT-after contemporary musician, Andy Muridzo, will take his ‘‘Tichambotenderera’’ tour to the sprawling suburb of Dangamvura tomorrow (Saturday) with a maiden gig at rejuvenated entertainment joint, Chitsa Sports Bar.

Organisers of the show decided to kick start their entertainment calendar with a high profile show after the venue underwent major renovations to accommodate more revellers as well as to host live bands.

The venue, popularly known as PaDhunza, is situated at the heart of the ghetto and had never hosted a musician of Muridzo’s calibre.

“This is just the beginning of greater things ahead. Hosting Muridzo is a dream come true for us and we are urging every music lover in Mutare to join us in celebrating life. It’s all systems go. The stage and a sophisticated lighting system are all in place,” said show organiser, “Boss Dhunza”.

Celebrated wheel spinners, Dj Ranga (Godfather) and Dj Momomo will take turns to entertain scores of revellers expected to throng the joint before the youthful singer jumps on stage.

Muridzo, fondly known as Baba Keketso, is currently riding high with an above average album, ‘‘Tichambotenderera’’ which comprises hits such as the title track, ‘‘Emma’’ (featuring Jah Prayzah) and ‘‘Memo’’.

Other fine songs contained on the album are ‘‘Dhibhi Remhuru’’, ‘‘Ndirangarirei’’ and ‘‘Chingoma Cherudo’’.
