God loves Zimbabwe
THE Bible says: “A fortified city is easy to conquer than winning back an offended brother.”
There is also an old adage which says a hungry person is an angry person. The above two statements have something in common in that they both talk about people and state of relationships.
To add on to that, we can say that human relations at whatever level are the most sensitive and delicate aspect of life because how we handle them determines the success or failure of nations, organisations, religions and families. Every good leader, be it in politics, business, church or family should know that leading the people you have is not a right, but privilege and the only person who can claim a sovereign right on human beings and all creation is God, the Almighty.
This means that every good leader then must also know that above them there is another allpowerful, invincible, incorruptible, all-knowing and ever-present being in the form of deity and that being is none other than the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We are all vulnerable to God and we owe our existence to Him and as a nation we should be grateful for our political leadership which has steadfastly acknowledged the existence and supremacy of this awesome God.
Some political leaders have compromised on their beliefs just for 30 pieces of silver, but not with President Mugabe.
Zimbabwe has a bright future because of President Mugabe who has been consistent in believing in God and defending the good morals enshrined in the Bible and most importantly his stance on disapproving and banning of homosexuality in this country.
Allowing homosexuality as a right in a country is as good as allowing the spirit of anti-Christ free reign in a country.
We acknowledge what President Mugabe has done for Christianity in this country and it is for this reason that very soon God will be wiping away our tears and giving us a better life.
We refused moral degeneracy and chose the difficult and narrow road, but the sweet fruits are soon coming. God loves Zimbabwe and we are truly blessed! We may not agree on other things as a nation. That is normal because life will be boring if we always agree on everything, but on this one we should all be grateful.
We know some in opposition politics wanted to smuggle in some homosexual friendly sections in the new Constitution, but the leadership of His Excellency shot it down. We are indebted indeed.
