CELEBRATED emcee, DJ Stavo, MC Abisha Palmer X, DJ Too Bad are expected to light up the opening celebrations which will see the Who’s Who of Mutare attending. Also expected to grace the occasion is South African socialite Zodwa Wabantu, who was earlier this week given the green light to perform in the country.

The club, owned by prominent Harare-based show promoter, businessman and Devine Assignments founder, Biggie Chinoperekwei, will be the third of similar outlets in Harare and Bulawayo.

“All is in place for the official open- ing. We would like to apologise to the people of Mutare for not opening last week. However, all is in place. We are ready to host fun lovers and pleasure seekers from the eastern border city for the first time,” said one of the club’s management.

The joint comes with a wide range of spectacular packages, among them an opulent lounge that enables fun lovers to have private gatherings, meetings and parties while boozing.

The joint is situated adjacent Megawatt Building where the now defunct Gulliver’s Nightclub was housed.

Chinoperekwei told The Weekender Entertainment that spreading tenta- cles to the eastern border had always been his wish.

“We would meet our patrons and fun lovers in Harare and Bulawayo who asked us to establish a joint in Mutare and we are happy that the dream has been fulfilled.

“We will officially open the doors tonight with an array of entertainers expected to be part of the opening ceremony,” he said.

Club 263 joins other entertainment hotspots in the Devine Assignments family such as Cecil Hotel, Club Connect, Archie’s, Private Lounge Harare and Private Lounge Bulawayo, Holly’s Hotel and City Sports Bar.
