Pool fiesta at Rozvi Sports Bar

ROZVI Sports Bar is expected to be a hive of activity when the Mutare Pool League hosts a two-day inter-club one-man tournament tomorrow and Saturday.

Players willing to participat­e at the tournament are expected to register on Saturday before 2pm.

$3 will be charged for players affiliated to clubs in the Mutare Pool League while late entries will pay $4.

One of the organisers and bar owner, Eddie Gopo said they were ready to host the tournament.

“We would like to thank Mutare business community and stakeholde­rs not forgetting pool players who always make such tournament­s successful. We are ready to host the event and we would like to urge pool lovers to come in numbers,” said Gopo.

“All Mutare Pool League players are expected to have a minimum of six players. Competitio­n has always been stiff in such events and we are expecting yet another exhilarati­ng tournament. We would like to thank Mutare business community and stakeholde­rs not forgetting pool players who always make such tournament­s successful. We are ready to host the event and we would like to urge pool lovers to come in numbers,” said Gopo.

Outstandin­g players will walk away with prizes.

Music movement, Tuff Nuff, led by veteran deejay Ranga T, will provide entertainm­ent during the potentiall­y-exciting tournament which is expected to draw pool players from across Mutare.
