DYNAMOS is the biggest club in the land. Their position on the log is not pleasing. The league a Dembare which is strong and fight for honours. We hate to see Dembare which reached the 1998 African finals fighting relegation. — Tawanda Mhlanga, Dangamvura As Zimbabweans, we should come up with a lasting solution to combat the growing threat of cholera in the country.

Campaigns should be done countrywide to ensure that people are educated on how to prevent the disease in a unique way.

People have to be hygienic always because the bacteria is drug-resistant.

Furthermore, Econet Zimbabwe should be applauded for the donation towards this bacteria. Together we can stop Cholera. — Terrence Mwedzi, Osborne Dam. Roles of provincial councils, ministers spelt out. The concept of devolution is brilliant but it must come with clear mandates that do not overlap with central Government.

We must be guided by the need to avoid bureaucratic red tape and instead achieve synchronisation and harmony in running national affairs.

There is a need to clearly spell out roles of the various arms that the Local Government Minister envisages to constitute the provincial councils and to legislate as necessary to ensure compliance.

We must therefore be careful that our call for ease of doing business is never compromised, if anything these councils must make it easy for people to do business. —

Registration of street vendors has been long overdue. There has been a lot of politics around this.

Many cities globally have some form of vending and that includes New York but there are rules.

The local authorities need to identify areas where people can sell their wares and where it is safe and convenient for people to buy.

Proper sanity facilities have to be installed, built or erected and all vending has to be properly registered to enable accountability.

This is not the case in most cities. People do as they please and that certainty has to stop.

We need not to wait for a crisis of the nature we are confronted with for us to act.

We have a similar scenario in other sectors such as public passenger transport where kombis and mushika shika operator in a disorderly manner. they drive against the flow of traffic and shoot past red traffic lights with impunity.

Containing the cholera outbreak becomes a problem because of this disorder. We need to jion hands to bring sanity into our city. — Zimbabwean The enemies of Zimbabwe are in overdrive trying to cause instability in the country.

My appeal to Government is to put tight measures to stop unfair activities that are taking place daily. It is mere truth that the prices are generally on the upwards trend, which is sad.

The current regime should act and stop this as a matter of urgency before it’s too late. The economy killers must face the music and there is no two ways about it. — Mutare We call upon football pundits to take a sober look at the problems that are prevailing in our football club, Dynamos.

The club’s performance is very sad and poor this season. We don’t want to be relegated. — Zimunya May l express my heartfelt thanks to Mr Farai Matope for searching and boosting talents in our area. As youths we are proud of you.

We have no doubt that with him Osborne Dam will be a better environment. How famous our place would be if we have more promoters like Mr Matope?

You are doing a sterling job. If truth be told, you are one of our unsung heroes of this modern time. Thank you Sir. — Mutasa It is an open secret that our government was broke due to poor policies and some corrupt leaders.

Zimbabweans are being urged not to wait for spoon feed from government all the time.

By so doing, we will continue to disadvantage ourselves. There are some areas in our communities where Government should not be blamed and involved. — Rusape I would like to thank President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa for recognising women. I

n Africa, women tend to looked down upon, but Zimbabwe is working hard toward uplifting its daughters and mothers.

These women will indeed represent us all women.

The equality we cried for is now here, we are now empowered. Simba kuvanhukadzi — Dorothy
