GOSPEL artiste Heavens Tahuwona’s forthcoming album due for release next month will carry messages meant to inspire married couples urging them to be honest, loyal and respectful with each other.

Tahuwona, a gifted songwriter with a booming voice, painted Mutare white and blue last Saturday and brought business in the Central Business District to a standstill as he was celebrating silver jubilee with his wife, Mary.

The majestic carnival which later proceeded to Chancellor Primary School lured several musicians and socialites across Mutare’s showbiz.

Speaking on the sidelines of the fairytale silver jubilee wedding, Tahuwona said he put his blissful marriage experience in songs.

“My comeback album is almost complete and I am glad that it coincides with our 25 years in marriage. Some of marriage core values such as honesty, love, trust and loyalty are themes contained in the album. These are values that have seen us reach this far. Couples should be prayerful and let God be the head of the union. The silver jubilee was colourful thanks to everyone who supported us. Couples should learn to be satisfied with what they have,” said the singer who intially tied knot in December 1992.

Tahuwona revealed that he was also working on a debut DVD which is expected to be out before end of year. He is also set to hold live shows to popularise his brand. He last released Namata Urinde three years ago.

His music is inspired by gospel music legends Mechanic Manyeruke and Blessing Shumba.
